Professional Speaking

I attended the Suicide Prevention training with Khara and it was informative and impactful. Khara did a beautiful job of answering questions with insight, creativity, and kindness. I would definitely attend another one of her trainings in the future.
— Paulina Siegel, MSW, LCSW, CAC II, Participant
I recently had the pleasure of working with Khara on an event we hosted for our alumni and community, where the focus was on Suicide Assessment and Safety Planning. Throughout the planning process, Khara was incredibly helpful by not only providing guidance on topics that needed to be covered, but also writing content for marketing materials to ensure the workshop was appropriately represented. I relied on her expertise to build out the workshop’s program, and she led a thoughtful presentation on such an incredibly difficult topic. She is also an event planner’s dream by coming prepared with her slide deck, and knowing the type of AV needs that work best with her presentation style. The workshop was very well received by attendees, and I have already asked her to participate in other upcoming events!
— Megan Stribling, Director of Alumni Engagement, Event Organizer

Catalyzing meaningful change to reduce stigma and inspire connection, Khara enjoys speaking to audiences of 12-2,000 in order to support community innovation and impact. Khara is available to speak on a variety of mental health topics. Some of her most requested speeches are listed below.

Khara presented an informative and interactive workshop on teenage mental health, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and evaluating the risks - all difficult topics. Her presentation was well thought-out and provided skills and confidence to a group of professionals who had varying levels of experience in these areas. Khara was engaging, professional, and attuned to the needs of the group while explaining complex material.

I attended Interactive and Interactive Approched to Suicide, a training led by Khara Croswaithe Brindle and sponsored by Catalyst Counseing. Khara provide a good overview of risk factors, trends in suicide assessment tools and apps for clinicians to share with clients. Her presentation was clear and interactive. I have been in practice for a while but this provided different perspective from other clinicians along with Khara’s expertise. The training was two hours well spent.
